I was recently invited to the music video launch of Ali Sethi’s latest single, Mahi Mera. Ali is a multi-talented individual; Harvard graduate, published author and a classically trained vocalist. Talk about diversity… 🙂

Following the participation and appreciation on Coke Studio’s Season 8, music for award-winning biopic “Manto” and his spellbinding single ‘Kithay Nain Na Jorin’ last year, the soulful and multifaceted musician Ali Sethi has released his first song and video of the year on 05th February 2016: “Mahi Mera”, a collaboration with folk artist Jamaldin, with a video directed by acclaimed international filmmaker Umar Riaz. LAHORE – Bachaana Music Launch


Hello all you lovely people!

I was recently invited to the music launch of the upcoming Pakistani film, BACHAANA. Knowing my love for social events and selfless support for local cinema, you can imagine I would not have missed it albeit the severe jet -lag after an 8 hour flight! BACHAANA, as the name suggests is a romantic comedy that is packed with a lot of action and the story is based on cross cultural relationship and how eventually love transcends boundaries…as always! 😉

On 08th October 2005, I was taking my SAT exam at Avari Hotel Lahore, Pakistan, when suddenly the hall started shaking ferociously.

The magnificent glass chandeliers above us moved from left to right, the tables started crackling and frantic eyes of 100 plus students and supervisors in the hall spoke of nothing but sheer fear. Fear of dying in a concrete box amidst floors above and below us in this five star hotel. (more…)

SPECTRE, all set to release in Pakistan!

SPECTRE, the latest James Bond film, will open in cinemas across Pakistan on the same day as its US release on 6 November, 2015.

Hello my lovelies!!!

I was invited to a special preview of Elan Luxury Lawn at Avari Lahore on 18th March 2015.

The preview comprised of a spectacular fashion presentation where models wore beautiful Elan outfits, soulful tunes being sung by Jimmy Khan, well-laid snacks tables and huge frames flamboyantly presenting the lawn designs. If you live in Pakistan with over 9 months of extreme summer then you just entered your chocolate factory ladies!





7 Welcome to London – Workshop and Movie Screening

First of all, I am extremely sorry for my LONG silence. Lots going on but more about that later! 🙂

Alrighti so I went to a workshop by Asad Shan followed by the screening of his maiden venture, ‘7 Welcome to London’ at FiLUMS Festival hosted by the Lahore University of Management Sciences on Saturday, 14th February 2015. (Yeah I know! No better plans…)
